V2.3 - A Final Update (For Now)

Updates:

• Fixed some typographical errors and general bugs.
• Some content revisions and updates towards the end of K-’s route. This might or might not change your opinion of her and Em.
• Added a few new datasets, introducing some characters who might be appearing in a sequel.

Thanks to KaliRanya for playing through the game and finding a number of typos and bugs. I’ve tried to fix the ones that I saw, but there are likely more. If you find any, please let me know. Did you know that I wrote this game without using spellcheck?

I am not planning any more updates for Archivist, unless there’s a bug or other major issue. There are other projects I should be working on.

Future plans for the Archivist-verse

The sequel/prequel/inter-quel, A Soft Incipient Light, is in development, but very slowly. I do not know when or if it will ever be released. It is planned to take place in a vertical farm in the arcology during the days prior to and during the uprising, and will combine basic management gameplay with epistolary elements.

I am also considering writing a game that consists solely of the archival component, maybe as a dumping ground for all the document ideas and worldbuilding snippets that I’ve accumulated. It might also include a “historical quiz” where you have to decide which time period a particular document originated from. I have not started working on this.
