Pageant v1.0

Pageant is done.

Well, it's not "done" in the sense of being entirely the way I would like it to be, but it's at a good enough state that I feel comfortable calling it complete.

If I had more time and motivation, there is so much more content that could be added. But here it is. An not-so-epic story 5 years in the making.

Things you can do:

• Be Qiuyi (Karen*) Zhao, a socially awkward high school junior who has been registered for a beauty pageant by her parents. *first name changeable
• Train for the pageant, and meet (or possibly romance???) three other girls along the way:
  • Emily Chen, a mysterious girl you meet at the pageant info session
  • Miri Brooks, a long-time friend, a study in contrasts, and something of a geek
  • Aubrey Gao, an old crush and academic rival, and daughter of family friends.
• Participate in science competitions with your school's team, and science research at a university lab.
• Attend your parents' social gatherings, willingly or unwillingly.
• Learn a small smattering of Mandarin Chinese.
