The new update is fire!

(+1)

What do you need in order to kill Hitler?

With the Two Steps Forward, One Leap Below mod.

You need a militarized enough Reichsbanner and an armed police to deport Hitler with extreme prejudice, which will kill Hitler.

(+1)

ok thx.

You're welcome.

(+5)

very fun, I wonder if a cheat mode will ever be introduced, want to see what is possible if I just go ham

(+3)

Just curious, is it possible to get the Neorevisionists movement without having an election at all? How exactly do I get the movement without having any elections?

(+1)

Nazi support needs to be around 15% or higher

A bug I found (but didn't manage to record) was that I got handed the Economic Democracy card while not controling the Finance Ministry.

(+1)

Do you control the economic ministry? If so that's why you'd get the eco democracy card.

I just controlled the Justice, Foreign, Labor and Interior ministries.

that’s probably due to the Labor

(+1)

Welp. Getting the Heidelberg Program achievement wasn't really that difficult. It took me less than five tries to get it.

(+1)

If your willing, any tips for getting it done?

(1 edit)

You should have the Foreign Minister, Pfülf and Wels, Juchacz or Schumacher as advisors — Rudolf to form the EU, Pfülf for the women's rights and Wels, Juchacz or Schumacher just for the Emergency Fundraising.

I'd suggest that there could be an achievement from signing the Concordat between Prussia and the Vatican (through the Prussian affairs card) and the Concordat between Germany and the Vatican (through the foreign affairs card).

I just noticed the timeline of the Weimar Republic until 1928 in the library and I'm curious to know in which update it was added.

(+1)

This was added in v0.18, I forgot to put it in the devlog.

(1 edit)

Thank you for letting me know. I found it interesting — and even though it's a small change, it's an important one for those who want to learn about the history of the Weimar Republic and/or the historical context of this game. A small suggestion I have is making it accessible at the starting menu as well instead of only the library.

On another thing, the "current government details" in the library is a crucial addition for those who forget which ministries they control. It could be a menu of the Status sidebar (or topbar in the mobile UI) for it to be more easily accessible.

(+2)

I think it would be cool if the player had to click through some dire warnings from the Social Democratic leadership about the costs of civil war, their uncertainty about the workers' willingness to stand against the anti-republican forces, their pessimism about avoiding liquidation, let alone victory -- anytime the option is presented to resist the prussian coup or hitler's appointment.

I really like the narrative voice of the game. Admittedly, I'm not sure how this suggestion would fit with what's there.  Tangent: My favorite scene was a placeholder from a really early version of the game when you got relations high enough with the communists that you were able to march with them on May Day: "This is hard." I really, really like the current version, but there's something about what I read as astonishment coming from the game's quasi-omniscient narrator that I keep coming back to. Maybe the first realization that history can be changed.

In any case, I do really like the writing. Thank you for making this game and all your subsequent work.

(+2)

I finally managed to get a majority government! I tried that for so long and finally managed to get a majority government!

(+1)

wow how did you manage that?

You need to enact the WTB plan and make everything about it (the rallies and the iron front), and try to get as many cards which increase your popularity as possible (political rally, media, campaigning, etc).

(+1)

thanks i followed your advice and managed a 48%

(+1)

Close enough. In another playthrough, you might get a majority. Keep trying.

(1 edit) (+1)

Bug: The foreign ministry negotiation with Vatican is still available even after signing concordat

(2 edits) (+1)

In fact, it's only available after signing the Concordat though the Prussian Affairs.

Edit: The reason of why the Concordat can only be signed through the foreign affairs after signing it through the Prussian affairs is because the latter is a Concordat between the Free State of Prussia and the Vatican while the former is a Concordat between Germany and the Vatican.

Suggestion: Add an event

Left-wing militants marching

When KPD’s popularity surges to more than 30% and higher than the SPD, it should be able to rapidly grow RFB and attempt to launch a communist coup attempt to overthrow the state, especially if the Nazi support is high. To trigger this event, you will need to make sure KPD has higher support than all other parties, including the Nazis, and you have implemented austerity policies that impoverished the working-class and the unemployed.

If you lost or do not resist the takeover of the commies, the KPD would turn Germany into a totalitarian Stalinist dictatorship and start violent purges and massacres, similar to Stalinist USSR, and begin to help Moscow sponsor more Stalinist parties and regimes in Europe.

If the unions declared independence due to your anti-worker policies, they might side with the KPD instead of the SPD

It's impossible for KPD to get a popularity higher than 30% without cheating(for example, using  console )

I was just giving an example

(+1)

Wait I might be dumb but is there even a way to cheat?

(+2)

It's possible with a lot of save scumming. (Volkspartei, focus on the middle class, abandon the working class as much as possible [cut welfare, etc], Rally in defence of Jews with the Iron Front(Lowers NSDAP/DNVP support), 5% threshold)

The highest popularity of KPD I have gotten is about 25%,by cutting welfares crazily, and it began declining after prussian coup(Nazi's poplularity grows much faster).

(+3)

Incredible game, its very hard to play but its a good way for new generations to know about world history!

(+4)

Bug report: Elections in loading always displays as "1928 Coalition Menu" no matter which year it was held

That’s the name of the scene file in the source code. Unfortunately it might be a load bearing name at this point…

Does anyone know why I cannot get the popular front coalition?

(1 edit)

Not good enough relations with Zentrum, as far as I remember. And yeah, that's a bug. In the sense that you are not shown the reason. And yes, just "any" warm relations with the center are not enough if they are on the verge of neutral.  Sadly, the specifics of reflecting relations in the game

(+1)

The display bug should be fixed now…

(+4)

Suggestion: If the Conciliators took over the KPD, there should be a different KPD presidential candidate than the Stalinite Thalmann

(+1)

How do you get the Conciliators to take over?

No idea, i tryed that too, but never got the starting event...

You need to have good relationship with KPD by the inter-relations policy, and either Levi's KPD boost.  Then when the Thälmann's scandal happen (by choosing the 'International Contacts' and 'Embed a Spy in the Comintern' choice , switch to either Levi or Rosenfeld as advisor, which grant you the option to keep the scandal hidden (do NOT reveal the scandal) after which you can use the foreign ministry to see if the Soviet know about the affair by the 'foreign relations' choice, the KPD then will have a conference, if above choices are followed, do and let the KPD elect the reconciliators to leadership, there's also stuff about apologizing for the action of 1919 but I didn't tried that bcs of fast reading LOL

You have a tiny window of opportunity to do it before the game reaches 1930. So do the thing at the very first 6 months. Then if you want to grab that other achievement. Just try and RNG to get to the influence the Center event.

Ok, i managed it. It worked after spying on the comentern and using paul levi to cooperate with the kpd. The Spying is to trigger the event with the affeir and levi to unlock on option. Not sure if the time is importent but i did it very early.

(+1)

Possible bug report?

Even if you have Braun as president, when you call for new elections when a majoroty isn't formed it shows that the SPD is part of the opposition even though the president and chancelor are a member of the SPD.

should be caretaker government but yeah

I think this should be fixed now?

(4 edits) (+8)

Suggestions:

1. Make a constitutional coalition possible only by 1932-1933.

You can simply call early elections through Müller in December 1929 or January 1930 - create a coalition, and as a result do nothing. The next elections - in 1934 or by the end of 1933. As a result, you can agree to austerity, do nothing, and the Nazis will do nothing.

2. Make the "March on Berlin" event likely if the Nazis have the ability to paralyze the Reichstag as a result of the elections. This simply partially solves the problem of manipulation of elections in the early stages of the game and allows the Nazis to use more force to overthrow democracy. By, for example, 1932, if they have enough votes to paralyze the Reichstag (for example, if the anti-republican parties have more than 50%), the "March on Berlin" event occurs, where they demand snap elections from Hindenburg. This is also consistent with history, because after the Reichstag elections of 1930, the Social Democrats seemed to be able to create a "constitutional coalition" and sit quietly until 1934, but this is not true. So I propose that the constitutional coalition be made more difficult, or that it is more difficult to come to an agreement about it with the DVP or the "Other" parties - or at least only by 1932.

3. Add more events about internal party politics.

Add events to requirements for changing advisors. For example, instead of a party event about disagreements in the party, and then a split, you can do it differently. For example, the left faction, threatening a split with high discontent, demands to replace advisers with members from the left wing. If you agree, you are obliged to replace the adviser with a member of the left wing and cannot replace him within 6 months without this wing splitting. Or, if the advisers are already in their posts, they do not simply "leave", but, again, issue an ultimatum or agreement. For example, as with the communists, you promise them to fulfill something within X months. Or ultimatums like:

—Centrists/reformists demand to cut funding for the Reichsbanner

—The left wing demands to reduce commercialization in

our media (minus 1 resource)

—Reformists demand big concessions to bourgeois parties in matters of the program

—Labor demands to put pressure on the government for the sake of increasing social spending (if we are in the government, then they simply demand, if not in the government, then threaten a vote of no confidence)

—Left wing demands to soften our line towards the communists (this will anger the bourgeois parties).

Or add another option with the solution of disagreement through resources.

Left wing - decommercialization of our media, increase in funding for Reichbanner, our youth organizations,

Reformists - funding of our cultural and educational programs, sports leagues

Labor - More mutual aid and welfare programs

Centrists - finance a broad newspaper party debate on ideological issues.

Or finance (-1 resourse) a broad rally in accordance with the program of a specific wing.

I also suggest the possibility of events on conditional compromises between the wings of the party.

For example, we are promoting the Labor program on the economic crisis, but in exchange for support for this plan we need to make concessions on some other issues with other wings of the party.

For example, the reformists are ready to agree to the Labor economic plan, but demand in exchange for this to cut the Reichsbanner. Or "The Centrists are ready to accept the left economic plan, but in exchange they demand a more anti-communist line."

The idea is to make the early adoption of the plan extremely difficult without concessions to the other wings. For example, it is impossible to accept "any" economic plan right away without an alliance with another wing (the second or first in strength). But with time of promotion (at least 1 more time for there to be an event) of this program in the party, the wings no longer need concessions for its adoption.

We can also add demands from the wings according to the ministries, if we control them — or press our coalition partners for that. Or a change of cabinet to the corresponding wings. Or add this opportunity as an additional one for concessions, if we are in the government. In the spirit that we can give in either "within" the party, or in government policy

Labor Ministry:

Centrists — demand to support workers' councils

Reformists/Labor — demand to support worker and consumer cooperatives

Left wing — demand to socialize key industries.

Ministry of Finance:

Left wing — increase taxes on the rich

Centrists/Reformists — make tax system more progressive

Labor — Cut overrall taxes.

Internal Security:
Left wing — unban the communist RFB, Ban the Stahlhelm

Reformists — Ban the RFB or press cummunists furher

Labor — investigate corruption by big businesses

Agricultural:

Left wing — state buyer

Labor — food procurement

Centrists — land reform

Reformists — Agricultural Financing

Foreign:

Left wing — improve relations with Soviet Union

Another idea: if the reformists are disloyal at event "The Prussian Bulwark", we cannot choose options because they are not ready to listen to orders from the party

I have a question — what would the Neorevisionists demand if their dissent with the party is high enough?

(7 edits) (+1)

I think they will be copying reformists on most issues (Kurt Schumacher have reformist economic plan), but also support Reichsbanner, any anti-far right things and bunch of rally for republic and democracy.
In my opinion, advisors from the Neorevisionists just too weak. They show up in mid-late game, but they can give you... Rally for democracy, event on Reichsbanner and just buff on Iron Front... This is simply not enough.

My options for fixing this
1. Give Mierendorff the ability to beat the Nazis rally through our paramilitaries, which will reduce their popularity. Add this feature only after the Iron Front is formed

2. Give Schumacher the ability to strengthen the Reichsbanner, but for free. Also, instead of the reformist plan, give him the opportunity to increase the number of police in Prussia by 40 thousand, and not 20 as in the usual event for recruiting police in Prussia.

3. Give Leber the ability to rally without the possibility of disruption. The rally is not for democracy, but simply an event for the rally.

4. Give Mierendorff more buff to his ability "Warning about the Nazis". I like the idea, but impact just too weak. That ability can, for example, reduce dissent of all wings — like Wells, but 2-3 times stronger. Or/and improve relations with all parties, including the communists (Excluding NSDAP and DNVP), and reduce dissent in the coalition. Improving relationships with parties can also be improved, but not by much - 1.5 times, for example.

In other words, make them stronger than other advisors. Because they appear much later. So they should have some abilities that only they have, which give us a significant advantage over those advisors who are available to us from the very beginning of the game.

(+6)

I just want to say I have have been playing this game for a couple of weeks now, and I think this is one of the best history based games I have ever played, I love the card style and how the game is presented. Thanks for making it!

How do you get good enough relationships to make the Center Party elect a chairman friendlier to the SPD?

(+1)

Braun has 'Negotiating with the Coalition' which you can use twice, the 'Inter-Party Relationships' card, any option which condemns the KPD on 'Choosing Our Enemies', banning the KPD paramilitary/ further persecuting them, reducing welfare spending, and siding with employers in labour disputes.

This all got me to very friendly with Z & DVP.

Not sure what difference this makes in practice tbh.

(2 edits) (+2)

Bug: When a party gets less then 5%  of the vote after the constitutional amendment they are still shown to have one seat in the Reichstag.

Bug: Constitutional Reform does not show up when using Government affairs. Likely because "#tags: govt_affairs" but there is another mistake "judiciary_timer = 0" which should be "constitutional_reform_timer = 0" and Radbruch should have "constitutional_reform_timer -= 12".

Bug: You can do all the constitutional reforms several times.

Bug: You can sign the Concordat several times.

Bug: When using easy_discard after having used an advisor's ability the card show up in your hand (if you have space in it). It also sets your advisor_action_timer to 6.

Maybe bug: The BVP does not get nuked for being under the 5% threshold after the reform.

Maybe bug: When doing minor reforms (and only in the case of minor reforms) dissent) judiciary_timer goes up with an extra 6 months.

(+1)

Suggestion: Instead of a 5% limit wouldn't the neorevisionists prefer first past the post (or was that only Mierendorff)? Then a strong regional party like BVP would survive while DDP and others would not.

Suggestion: If you get more than 50% in catholic it might be a good idea to have an event where you can spend resource(s) to essentially usurp the BVP and get rid of them.

Suggestion: If you do enough constitutional reforms officially change the name of the country.

Question: Would it be fitting to have other factions wanting constitutional reforms like the left wanting to give full political power to the councils (all power to the...)? Though then neorevisionism having to be accepted would not make sense for the referendum...

(+1)

I think the 5% thing is at the regional level and BVP does numbers in Bavaria

(+1)

Most of these issues should be fixed now…

(1 edit)

Thanks!

Though that one seat remaining for parties that fell below the 5% mark is still an issue.

(+1)

Let's a go!

(+1)

I cannot get the Raterepublik achievement to trigger, even when fully implementing Left plan and all Economic Democracy.

(2 edits) (+4)

Suggestions about mechanics:

1. Make a punishment for the increase in funding for the army, if there was no agreement on reducing Versailles. For example, sanctions

2.  To make it possible, with a strong Reichbanner and left wing, to attack the SA at the expense of worsening relations with the coalition and the center party.

3. Strengthen the police and its capabilities to counter the Nazis. Because relying on the police, even through advisers, is always unprofitable. Although, it would seem, we control the legal force in Prussia

4. I propose to make additional events in case of the creation of the league. For example, it is possible to publish the results of the debunking of the myth, this will reduce the popularity of the Nazis, but will worsen the relationship with the coalition and with the DVP. Hindenburg can also do us harm, because he is actually one of the main authors of this myth and its main beneficiaries as one of the leaders of the Army in the First World War

5. Add Strasser. It seems to me that in addition to the idea of "sending a spy into the Comintern" in inter-party relations, something similar can be done with the Nazis. Make possible a connection with their "left" wing, the Strasserists. And with a certain level of "rightism" and cooperation with the conservatives, it will be possible to split the NSDAP before the end of the game.

6. Add event for "right wing turn" in the party of the center Ludwig Kaas.

7. Add an event for problems with the ruling coalition in Prussia if relations with the center party become worse than neutral.

8. Add the event of the Prussian Landtag elections of 1932, where the ruling coalition loses its seats and becomes a minority government. Formally, this and the disorder in Altona provoked Papen to putsch in Prussia, so this can be played out by the fact that it happens if we fail to resolve this political crisis in Prussia, and not just when Papen is appointed

9. To make it possible to put pressure on the Brüning government on the issue of reparations for our party interests. If we a in toleration and have a good relationships with Center party.

10. Instead of simply appointing Papen suddenly to replace Brüning, I propose introducing a scale (hidden or open) for tolerance towards Brüning, if he runs minority government. When the scale falls, he is replaced by Papen, etc. However, it falls gradually during a crisis, if he is in power by the will of the president Hindenburg. It's just that in a regime of toleration you lose in any case, because Brüning is replaced by Papen according to the script just like that — even if you formed contitutional coalition, but was not included in it. I think it's worth adding that ability to avoid the rise of the Nazis to power, although it should be made difficult. For example, so that the internal split constantly grows or the popularity of the party falls for each 2/3 month of the regime of toleration or something like that.

11. Add event on the growth of the SA with the appointment of Ernst Röhm as SA chief in April 1931. And what, for example, with a strong police, with the SA ban or the Reichsbanner/Minister of the Interior can somehow weaken this growth.

12. Make it harder for Otto Braun to win the presidential election. It's cheating to some extent that you can simply do nothing in the first round, so that Hindenburg leads, so that the Nazis don't support him in the second round — and at that moment convince the Center Party or the Communists to vote for you. It seems to me that it's worth making the conditions for their support in the second round more difficult. For example, that the Center Party  always demand money for support, as do the Communists (or a stronger relationship with them is needed).

13. Add more benefits from reconciliation with the communist paramilitary. For example, that the communist paramilitary can now, together with the Reichbanner, defend our rallies.

14. Make the confrontation on the streets more important, especially in 1932 and 1933. If you are not going to have a civil war, the dominance of the far right in all security forces simply does not feel like a threat - well, yes, the SA breaks up your rallies, but nothing more. And if you do not pursue far left policies, these armed gangs will not do anything special to the republic. I think it is worth adding more events on the problems of the SA, if compared to the SA we have a very weak Reichbanner and/or police. For example, if we make an event in the media, the SA takes our newspapers out of the press - or destroys our radio stations if we do not protect them. Or when we are campaigning — our agitators get beaten.  Or the SA even interferes with state policy, if they very strong: they forcibly dissolve workers' councils, attack trade unions friendly to us, or furiously demand the return of reactionary judges, investigators and laws after judicial reforms.

15. Make it possible to use a loyal Reichswehr outside of a civil war. The Reichswehr as an organization really only has some influence when there is a far-right putsch or Hitler comes to power - and even reformed and buffed up, they are usually weaker than the SA and Stahlhelm. I propose making it possible to use the army to suppress the right if they break the law or interfere in any way, as I suggested in point 14.

16. Make the campaign for the Young plan not free. For example, that you need to pay 1 resource from the party budget. Otherwise, it turns out that it is always profitable to conduct a campaign for it - and it costs us nothing

17. Make a clear and specific distinction between "bolster the loyalty of the police" and "purge the bureaucracy of reactionary elements" in Prussia. My suggestion is that purging bureaucrats does not increase police loyalty, but it does improve the effect of subsequent attempts to increase police loyalty. This shows the cumulative positive effect of police reshuffles and purging the apparatus of reactionaries.

(+2)

This was a super interesting read. I really like 2, 14, and 17. I have to imagine that a huge contributor to the mess of toleration was a real fear of civil war, and seeing flashes of it on the streets every day

(+4)

Suggestion: while Shuffling Cabinet, reducing the amount of Ministries you control shouldn't increase coalition dissent (since you're effectively giving more power to your coalition partners).

I think it's a bug. There's no economic conference option as stated in the code

(+2)

This isn’t really a bug; the economic conference option is not yet implemented.

(+1)

Possible bug: I am in a Weimar Coalition since the first election.  Despite having Warm relations with Zentrum, you can see that they are supposedly chosen to bring down our government.  Is this normal?

(1 edit)

Yes it's normal. It's based on the actions you have taken in government, not on whether they like you, but such actions also make them like you less.

Ah shoot, I was wondering about that.  I think I was so excited to have a Weimar Coalition from the first election that I felt invincible 😆

Played as labor on easy, goal was to get 80% among workers 70% among new middle, 50% among unemployed (and less then 10 unemployed) having only accepted the WTB-plan and having done all three work council reforms while having an SPD-majority government. Obviously I was not allowed to become a people's party. This was a lot easier then my challenge as the centrists, but I think that makes perfect sense.

Played as centrist on easy, never adopted any economic policy, though the game seems to think that I did... Deflation was quite horrible to deal with.

(+1)

Bug: Even when EU is formed, if you do not control the foreign ministry the Austrian customs union will fire.

(1 edit) (+5)

This Game is great, i really like how the game handels dealing with the NSDAP as a german myself.

I would like if you could add a Sandbox mode with infinite rescources, witch would propably make an interesting experiment.

(+5)

Hello! I really enjoyed the game.  I could translate it in italian as a volunteer if you wanted.

(1 edit) (+2)

Sure! If you want to translate the game, feel free to make a fork on github. The game is open source, and you can compile and deploy it if you want - someone helpfully made a guide on the subreddit.

Thanks,i'll check out the guide since it's my first time ever working on Github. Hope i'll be able to translate it!

Hello i have an update. Unfortunately due to school restarting soon i will no longer be able to work on the translation. Sorry.

(+1)

This is mostly cosmetic, but DVP is shown as having cabinet positions in a Weimar coalition, at least in the Shuffle Cabinet card and Austrian Customs Union event.

(1 edit) (+2)(-1)

Suggestions about mechanics:

1. To make fundraising as an inevitable event in the spirit of the death of a party leader or a crisis. Otherwise, firstly, the problem of safescam, and secondly, the imbalance in the passages due to its different fallout. And so do it once or twice a year as an event.

2. To make snap elections possible if Otto Wels is Chancellor
3. To give special opportunities to politicians who die in the middle of the game. Müller's ability to defend tolerance is de facto useless at this stage of the game. You already have Hilferding with same ability at the beginning. For example, we can recall Müller's work on organizing the media of the Social Democrats under the German Empire. And accordingly, give him ability to cause an event in the media. Secondly, there are too few advantages to Müller's appointment as chancellor. And when the possibility of elections not in 1929 becomes more or less relevant, he dies. In the event of a "hunger chancellor" under Müller, popularity falls rapidly.  In other words, there is almost no reason to appoint Müller as chancellor.I propose to remove the possibility of snap elections from him and give different one.  Müller was head of the Foreign Ministry in 1919-1920 and signed the Treaty of Versaille. So you can give him an ability to an event at the Foreign Office if he is the Chancellor, even if you don't control the Foreign Ministry.

(7 edits) (+2)

Suggestions about achievements:

1. The vice Fuhrer. Let Göring win the president election

2. The pain of democracy. Let Hitler win the president election

 3. A "big" popular front. Create a minority government that only the Nazis and DNVP will vote against (KPD and DVP in this situation is voting against the far right).

4.  A sweet opportunists. Convince the KDP to tolerate the bourgeois government. Either a variant of a broad constitutional coalition, where the Social Democrats are not in government and commie OK with that government, or a really centrist coalition/a emergency government of the Center Party from Hindenburg, where the SPD and KPD tolerate this because of the far-right.

5. The Red Threat. Increase the militarization of the Reichsbanner to the maximum (high) and the Reichbanner is stronger than the Reichswehr and all right-wing paramilitarist groups combined. (Yeah, I did that one time)

6. The Red Army. The Reichswehr and the police are generally loyal, peace with the paramilitaries of the Communists, the Stainhelm and SA is banned.

7. The Gender equality. To carry out all reforms of women's rights: at work, in marriage and legalize abortion.  I did that too.

8. I said "No"! For President Otto Braun to refuse the Nazis to form a government so many times that they launched a military coup.

9. A social-fascist. Ban the paramilitaries of the Communists, pursue it further, increase the budget of the Reichswehr, do not reform the Reichswehr and the legal system, and do not purge reactionaries in the police and Interior Ministry, always support employers in disputes with workers and support the construction of the battle cruisers.

10. Heirs of the Spartacist suppression. Make Peace with the paramilitaries of the Communists, create a popular front, convince the Communists to support you in the presidential elections, then ban the paramilitaries of the Communists and organize their further persecution.

11. The Comintern's Dog. Improve relations with the Communist Party through  the USSR or spies in the Comintern 6 times in one game.

12. The eurofailure.  Start forming the European Union, but the project failed due to lack of seats in the Reichstag. To make sure that the European Union can be created only if the majority of holders are: SPD, Z/BVP, DDP, DVP. The rest voting against it. So it is impossible with a constitutional coalition or with a popular front.

13. Free-money party. decrease the fundraising in the party to zero.

14. The Overfulfilled Versailles. Reduce the number of Reichswehr to zero.

15. Blind in the right eye. The judges legalized SA and Stainhelm 5 times in one game.

16. Recommunization. Suppress the Bluthmai and ban the paramilitaries of the Communists, and later legalize it and make peace with it.

17. The police power. Ban paramilitaries of Communists, SA and stainhelm, and organize further persecution of all of them.

18. An opportunist in the very top. President Otto Braun appointed Hitler Chancellor.

19. A small party, big ambitions. Nominate Otto Braun for presidential election, but don't be able to convince anyone of his support from other parties, because they are more popular than the SPD.

20. The Anti-Hitler Coalition. Convince the KDP, Z, DDP and DVP support you, and then support Hindenburg in the president elections.

21. Only legal methods. Do not increase the militarization of the Reichsbanner, do not create an iron front, hold 3 rallies that the police protected from the SA.

(+1)

Suggestion: I suggest making the player notice the new achievements obtained on a present playthrough from the ones achieved in previous playthroughs (an example would be if I get the Eiserne Front and Volksfront achievement, if I already had the Eiserne Front achievement but just obtained the Volksfront achievement, make the new one be of a different color than the old one, in this case, the Eiserne Front achievement would be in black while the Volksfront achievement would be in red or gold).

(+2)

On historical mode I had given up on Prussia, had Braun chosen as President, but got Braun blocked from becoming a Chancellor because of leading Prussia.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but if you call snap elections scheduled for December 1933, the event of the end of the crisis won't show until after the elections, in January 1934 .

(1 edit) (+4)

Historical mode is quite painful.

(1 edit)

Idk if it's a bug but I got hard mode achievement playing historical mode. I also got women's rights achievement without passing reforms on abortions or marriage
